Meet Laura
I’m Laura, your typical everyday type of girl, coffee lover (isn’t everyone?), entrepreneur and shoe collector😉😉 You’ll find me in the Midwest, Valpo, Indiana to be exact, trying to get fit, bingeing The Office, or taking/editing pics, creating content or hanging out with Pixel, my cat!
My Mission Statement
I help people learn to consume wisely. Whether by what you’re ingesting (food), or how you’re spending your money such as clothing and beauty products, but even how you consume your time. Are you wasting it, or thriving, in spite of EVERYTHING you have on your plate?
I jumped on the blog band wagon when it first emerged years ago posting reviews and pieces of clothing that I liked. And now, it’s morphed into something SO different. I’ve learned photography basics, I’ve worked with some of the most incredible brands and truly had some absolutely AMAZING experiences. While I started a blog to “share,” I’ve continued to blog for career-fulfilment.
Scholastically, my background is in health education. And, although I’ve elected not to teach in a school setting, I’m still teaching daily, through a way I never thought possible when I was in school. I’m exposing all the ingredients you didn’t know you were eating. I’m finding brands who share my values. I’m finding easy ways to maximize my time every single day. And I’m teaching you all about those same things every single day!
I L-O-V-E LOVE hearing from you - I feel almost overwhelmed knowing that I’ve had an impact in some of your lives. Every time someone messages me to tell me, “I love that top so much you posted, I had to get it too!” I’m seriously like, “wow - I influenced!” That’s amazing to me, so THANK YOU for reading my posts, following on my social channels and supporting me in whatever capacity. I appreciate you so much!!!!

There’s Just Something About Coffee. Black.
If you know me at all, you know I love my coffee. No cream, no sugar. Just black. How exactly does black coffee become beautiful? Easy...it's not pretentious. It's comforting in the morning, but suddenly a social drink in the afternoon with friends. And in this day and age with extra froth, elaborate blends and sugary concoctions, it somehow has become the edgiest brew of them all, and that my friends is beautiful.
