5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Health This Week
I know traditionally, right now is not the time people focus on their health. That’s what New Year’s is for, right?
Why wait!? Life is short and “getting healthy” means something different for every single one of us. Instead of unrealistic expectations, I think it’s important to focus on smaller goals that can more easily be attained and achieved. Your bodies will thank you!
1) Up the exercise. An obvious one, I know. That said, do you ever feel like a lot of us (me included) give up exercise because we don’t have an hour (or 30 minutes), or whatever we’re expecting of ourselves?
Stop that! Don’t beat yourself up because you don’t have the same amount of time as your neighbor, friend or Kim Kardashian.
Start with 10 minutes. 10 minutes of walking or a 10 minute workout from a free app. 10 MINUTES!
If you’ve already gotten into a fitness routine, add a few minutes of something else, in addition to that. Maybe it’s stretching or yoga. Maybe it’s an ab routine. Whatever “it” is for you, start it!
2) Eat better. I know, I know, something else all of us know, yet few of us do. If this is a tough one for you, again start small.
Last fall, I eliminated all preservatives. While it didn’t cause some crazy weight loss, I’ve never felt healthier. Just start - maybe it’s counting calories, maybe it’s making sure you eat veggies everyday. Focus on being healthy, not being a size 4.
3) Go to bed. I wonder, how many of us get 8 hours of sleep a night? Not me! Do you know getting enough shut-eye, actually can correlate to maintaining or reducing your weight, reducing stress, can help ward off all sorts of illnesses among a mirage of other benefits?
I know that. And yet, every night past midnight, I look at my clock and think, “5:30 is going to come really quick.” And it always does!
4) Hydrate your pretty little selves! Why do we avoid water like it’s contaminated with the plague? I am telling you, this is an easy one!
Why should you concern yourself with this one?
Uh, I don’t know? Who doesn’t love amazing skin? Water helps. It also helps boost our energy, control calories and is good for, well, every single one of our organs.

5) Last but not least, add an organic multi-vitamin, such as Viva Naturals’ Organic Women’s Multi-Vitamin with Probiotics.
Ladies, this is another easy way to help us focus on our health. With 21 essential vitamins and minerals, helping support energy production, immune health, skin, hair and nail health and even bone health, I feel some of us have become complacent when it comes to a multi-vitamin. Tisk-tisk…we have no one to blame but ourselves for that!
Containing Vitamins A, B, C, D and E, PLUS zinc, iron, calcium and folate, incorporating Viva Naturals supplements for women really just helps ensure we’re getting the important nutrients that honestly, are really hard to get in every day.
For example, did any of you eat 1C of carrots today for your vitamin A?
What about Vitamin E? That’s 2 ounces of almonds, or a mere 6 cups of goose meat. Anyone?
You get my point - 100% of all of these are really hard to get in. Thankfully, Viva Naturals has made it easy, plus included pre and probiotics for balanced digestion.
Additionally, Viva Naturals Women’s Multivitamin is manufactured in the USA - I love knowing and supporting brands that are employing our friends, families and/or neighbors!!!
Ok, I’ve given you 5 really easy ways to improve your health - give me 2 that you’re going to work on this week!
