2024 Fall Style Trends

Unlike any other season, fall and fashion go together like bees and honey. From the warm rich colors to the layering, there’s just something about the coziness of an autumn wardrobe. For some reason this season, I’ve been even more excited to hunt down some of my favorite fall 2024 pieces - fun and feminine, these classic trends have become modern again, just in time for fall.
Vintage Inspired Jackets and Coats
Where are all my vintage-loving gals at? Guess what, my friends? THIS fall you’ll get to don some of the CUTEST coats and jackets all with such a fun vintage flair, you may not want to take them off!
The styles are gorgeous: chic trenches with large buttons and cinched in waists, statement making lapels and collars, relaxed sleeves and even patterns reminiscent of another era. Embrace the vintage inspiration everyone, and as soon as the temps drop you’ll be set.
Women’s Vests
Truth be told, I’ve kept two of my most beloved vests and even occasionally wear them, for years, knowing they’d be back in style soon enough. BUT, not only can I keep wearing them this year, I’ll easily be able to find additional ones to add to my closet. Embrace the vest because this season they’ll be everywhere! Most styles are adorable alone, especially with wide leg pants, but on cooler days and nights, layer them over turtlenecks or other knits.
LaLa-Ladylike
There’s just something so classy about the ladylike pieces you’ll LOVE wearing this season! With feminine details and touches - from pearl accents and pretty bows - you’ll dazzle at brunch and beyond with these stunners. Additionally, silhouettes have taken on an effortless classy-vintage vibe. We’ll have serious Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibes.
Plaid
While this trend might be on-point every autumn, there’s something different about it in the 2024-2025 cold weather periods, mainly because, it’s everywhere. On wool skirts and coats, bags, pants, sweaters and more. Literally, all the places. Embrace this fun twist on a fall classic as this will be a breeze to find.
Pointed Toe Shoes
In a nod to both the feminine and vintage trends I highlighted above, it should come as no surprise pointed toe shoes will be back big this season. They look great with the sweet dress silhouettes we’re seeing, but also wide leg trousers and jeans. And while pumps are what are mind wanders to naturally, don’t discount a sweet kitten heel or flat. They’re also perfect with the season’s silhouettes.
Poofs
I love a good poof, and this trend can be so much fun. You’ll find poofs on sleeves, hemlines, skirts and jackets. One word of caution: avoid poofs on areas that will accentuate parts of your body you may not love.
Long Denim Skirts
These fitted beauties couldn’t be more fun! Don them now in the summer heat with sandals and a tank; pair them with your favorite Western boots and a sweater this fall. Or, make yours more casual with a platform sneaker and tee.
